Title Nielsen's Survey
Subject: Nielsen's Survey regarding survey done of unplotted areas in Mound and Graceland Cemeteries.
Recommendation:
10/16/2006- It was suggested that Chairperson Baldukas and Director Snow discuss issues related to the Survey. Motion moved to defer the item.
01/08/2007- Discussion was held about the use of vacant grave sites. Steve explained the decision that he received from the city attorney that allowed for the use of those grave sites. Further discussion was held about the number of cremations allowed on a vacant grave. The current number is 10. Alderperson Weidner motioned to decrease that number to six cremations on a vacant grave. Chairperson Baldukas 2nd the motion. The motion passed unanimously.
