Title: Subject: Communication from the Public Health Administrator requesting permission to enter into a Memorandum of Agreement with the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection for Weights and Measures Inspection services. (Res No. 0192-16) Recommendation of the Finance & Personnel Committee on 5-23-16: The City of Racine enter into a Memorandum of Agreement with the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection for Weights and Measures inspection services. The City will be charged for 36 days, at $400 per day to cover the cost of services rendered. This Agreement is for the 2016-2017 fiscal year (July 1,2016 - June 30,2017) and shall be self-renewing for succeeding fiscal year periods. Fiscal Note: Annual fees payable to the Department shall be in the amount of $14,400.00, except as otherwise agreed upon for succeeding contract periods. Funding has been allocated in the 2016 Budget.
