Title: Harley Owners Group Parade Resolved, that permission be granted to the Racine County Convention and Visitors Bureau to use city right-of-way for the Wisconsin State Harley Owners Group Rally to be held on Saturday, August 18, 2007, starting at 9:00 a.m., and to close the following streets: Washington Avenue from the city limits to Junction Avenue 14th Street from Junction Avenue to Main Street Main Street from 14th Street to 11th Street 11th Street from Main Street to Pershing Park Drive Pershing Park Drive from 11th Street to the Festival Park Further resolved, that this permission is granted with the following stipulations: A. A hold harmless agreement be executed; B. Proof of insurance be filed prior to this event; C. Any overtime cost and equipment and material loss incurred by any department in the assistance of this event shall be charged to the sponsor; D. Resolved, that permission be granted to the Racine County Convention and Visitors Bureau to use city right-of-way for the Wisconsin State Harley Owners Group Rally to be held on Saturday, August 18, 2007, starting at 9:00 a.m., and to close the following streets:
 
Washington Avenue from the city limits to Junction Avenue
14th Street from Junction Avenue to Main Street
Main Street from 14th Street to 11th Street
11th Street from Main Street to Pershing Park Drive
Pershing Park Drive from 11th Street to the Festival Park
 
Further resolved, that this permission is granted with the following stipulations:
 
A. A hold harmless agreement be executed;
B. Proof of insurance be filed prior to this event;
C. Any overtime cost and equipment and material loss incurred by any department in the assistance of this event shall be charged to the sponsor;
D. Sponsor shall be responsible for all traffic control and detour signage during the event.
E. Sponsor shall pay a $2,850.00 special event fee.  
 
Further resolved, that the Commissioner of Public Works/City Engineer and Chief of Police provide limited assistance in the interest of public safety to implement this event in accordance with these stipulations.
 
 
Fiscal Note: There will be nominal costs to the various city departments, on a regular shift basis, to assist in implementing this event.
