A full-time police officer selected by the chief of police and approved by the municipal judge shall be assigned to the municipal court.” Part 2: This ordinance shall take effect upon passage and the day after publication. To repeal and recreate Sec. 2-511 of the Municipal Code of the City of Racine, Wisconsin relating to Administration - Municipal Judge; Bailiff.

 

The Common Council of the City of Racine, Wisconsin do ordain as follows:

 

Part 1:

 

Sec. 2-511 of the Municipal Code of the City of Racine is hereby repealed and recreated to read as follows:

 

“Sec. 2-511.  Bailiff.

 

 A full-time police officer selected by the chief of police and approved by the municipal judge shall be assigned to the municipal court.”

 

Part 2:

 

This ordinance shall take effect upon passage and the day after publication.
