Subject: (Direct Referral) Communication from the Assistant Commissioner of Public Works/Operations requesting to waive formal bidding for repairs to the HVAC equipment at the Safety building and City Hall. (Res. No. 13-0330)
Recommendation of the Public Works and Services Committee on 8-13-13: That formal bidding procedures be waived and that the Mayor and City Clerk be authorized and directed to enter into Contract 55-13 (K3-060), Repair HVAC Equipment at Safety Building and City Hall, with Johnson Controls, Inc., Waukesha, WI, for the lump sum cost of $43,910.00.
Further recommend that funding to defray the cost of this work is available in Account 404.000.5670, Building Complex-Building Maintenance and Repairs.
