Replacement of Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) at the Safety Building
Resolved, that the request of the Assistant Commissioner of Public Works/Operations to replace the Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) to the Metasys system at the Safety Building, Contract 20150044, Johnson Controls, contractor is approved.
Further resolved, that the Purchasing Agent is authorized to waive formal bidding procedures in accordance with State Statutes that allow for the waiving of public bids for the purpose of maintaining uniformity of equipment and services.
Further resolved, that the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to enter into an agreement with Johnson Controls for the replacement of the Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) to the Metasys Control System at the Safety Building.
