Title: Community Garden at 3825 Erie Street Resolved, that the request from Marvin Letven, representing RUGN (Racine Urban Garden Network) for a conditional use permit to allow a community garden at 3825 Erie Street is approved, subject to the following conditions: a. That the plans presented to the Plan Commission on April 8, 2015, be approved subject to the conditions contained herein. b. That the garden shall be the responsibility of the RUGN and individual plot users shall be subject to these conditions as well as the RUGN Rules and Regulations. c. That no outdoor storage of supplies, materials, or equipment shall be allowed. d. That signage is not approved with this review. Any request for future signage shall require a minor amendment to the conditional use. Signage shall be limited to 12 square feet, be no taller than 4 feet, be located no closer than 10 feet from any property line, be no closer than 75 feet from any other zoning lot, and may not be located on the church buildin...

Resolved, that the request from Marvin Letven, representing RUGN (Racine Urban Garden Network) for a conditional use permit to allow a community garden at 3825 Erie Street is approved, subject to the following conditions:
 
a. That the plans presented to the Plan Commission on April 8, 2015, be approved subject to the conditions contained herein.
 
b. That the garden shall be the responsibility of the RUGN and individual plot users shall be subject to these conditions as well as the RUGN Rules and Regulations.
 
c. That no outdoor storage of supplies, materials, or equipment shall be allowed.
 
d. That signage is not approved with this review.  Any request for future signage shall require a minor amendment to the conditional use.  Signage shall be limited to 12 square feet, be no taller than 4 feet, be located no closer than 10 feet from any property line, be no closer than 75 feet from any other zoning lot, and may not be located on the church building or parsonage.
 
e. That the applicant shall require all garden users to remove their trash and yard debris from the site daily.
 
f. That the applicant shall provide City staff with the location and materials for the tool storage container, and indicate its location on the site plan, for review and approval prior to its installation.
 
g. That the property owner and applicant shall be responsible for snow, ice and debris removal service for the site and surrounding sidewalks as required.
 
h. That no minor changes be made from the conditions of this permit without the approval of the Plan Commission and no major changes be made from the conditions of this permit without the approval of the Common Council.
 
i. That this permit is subject to Plan Commission review for compliance with the listed condition, lease agreement, and guidelines and rules.
