Subject: In accordance with Section 2-95 of the Municipal Code of the General Ordinances of the City of Racine, recommends that the following requests for changes in traffic code be granted:
A. Recommends that Section 94-66 (1) of Schedule C of the Municipal Code of the General Ordinances of the City of Racine relative to "Through streets" be amended:
By Deleting:
1. 17th Street, from east line of West Boulevard to west line of Taylor Avenue, except at its intersections with Grange Avenue, Quincy Avenue and Holmes Avenue.
By Including:
1. 17th Street, from east line of West Boulevard to west line of Taylor Avenue, except at its intersections with Quincy Avenue and Holmes Avenue.
B. Recommends that Section 94-66 (2) of Schedule C of the Municipal Code of the General Ordinances of the City of Racine relative to "Stop intersections" be amended:
By Including:
1. Right-of-way on "Belmont Avenue"; Stop signs facing traffic on "Carmel Avenue".
2. Right-of-way traffic on "Belmont Avenue"; Stop signs facing traffic on "Hansen Avenue".
3. Right-of-way traffic on "Belmont Avenue"; Stop signs facing traffic on "Thor Avenue".
4. Right-of-way traffic on "17th Street"; Stop signs facing traffic on "Grange Avenue".
C. Recommends that Section 94-66 (3) of Schedule C of the Municipal Code of the General Ordinances of the City of Racine relative to "All-way stop intersections" be amended:
By Adding:
1. 17th Street and Quincy Avenue.
D. Recommends that Section 94-141 (1) of Schedule F relating to "No parking at any time", be amended:
By Including:
1. Ohio Street, east side, from Ridgeway Avenue south 150 feet.
E. Recommends that Section 94-141 (8) of Schedule F relating to "No parking from 7:30 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. on any school day", be amended:
By Deleting:
1. 17th Street, south side, from Grange Avenue to Quincy Avenue.
By Including:
1. 17th Street, south side, from Thurston Avenue to Quincy Avenue.
F. Recommends that Section 94-141 (45) of Schedule F relating to "No stopping, standing or parking from 7:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. on any school day except for school buses", be amended:
By Deleting:
1. Grange Avenue, west side, from 17th Street south 380 feet.
By Including:
1. Quincy Avenue, east side, from 17th Street south 460 feet.
G. Recommends that Section 94-143 (15) of Schedule G relating to "Two-hour parking from 9:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M., except on Sundays and holidays", be amended:
By Deleting:
1. 17th Street, north side, from Grange Avenue west 130 feet.
