Title: Subject: Engaging the Community on Police Reform Mayor Mason and Vicky Selkowe gave a brief update on the work of the Police Reform Task Force. The Community Conversations were illuminating - work of the Racine Police Department was both affirmed and challenged. The Task Force's two charges are to review the use of force and review citizen oversight. At the end of the 90-day work of the Task Force, there may be additional reform issues referred to the AAHRC. The survey is still on the website, and they hope to hear from more People of Color. The Spanish version of the survey will be available soon. The link will be sent to AAHRC members to share with their networks. The AAHRC will be the first stop for Task Force recommendations, and at that time they will see the date and be able to give input.
