Recommendation to the Public Works and Services Committee on 3-9-21:
That the work completed by Payne & Dolan, Inc. on Contract 20200004, 2020 City Resurfacing-North Side, be accepted and final payment authorized for a total contract of $987,879.80. Final payment to include retainage.
That the work completed by Payne & Dolan, Inc., on Contract 20200005, 2020 City Resurfacing-South Side be accepted and final payment authorized for a total contract of $1,089,280.58. Final payment to include retainage.
That the work completed by Hernandez Roofing, LLC, on Contract 20200050, Roof Replacement-Racine Heritage Museum be accepted and final payment authorized for a total contract of $150,912.10. Final payment to include retainage.
Fiscal Note:
Contract 20200004 was authorized under Resolution 0206-20 dated April 20, 2020. Change order No. 1 was previously approved in this meeting for the amount of $111,250.45.
Contract 20200005 was authorized under Resolution No. 0234-20, dated May 19, 2020. Change Order No 1 was previously approved in this meeting for the deduct amount of $30,635.60.
Contract 20200050 was authorized under Resolution 0432-20, dated July 21, 2020. Change order No. 1 was authorized under Resolution 0860-20 on December 15, 2020 for $4292.10. Racine County, is responsible to cover 50% of this project cost, so will be responsible to cover $75,456.05.
