Subject: Communication sponsored by Mayor Mason, on behalf of the Assistant Director of City Development, requesting permission for the City to receive the properties addressed as 1101 Hamilton Street (Parcel #03004000) and 812 Hamilton Street (Parcel #01975000) from the County of Racine and transfer the property to Habitat for Humanity for the purpose of redevelopment.
Recommendation of the Finance and Personnel Committee on 02-26-2024: That the Assistant Director of City Development be granted permission to receive the properties addressed as 1101 Hamilton Street and 812 Hamilton Street from the County of Racine to the City of Racine, and that the properties be transferred to Habitat for Humanity for the purpose of redevelopment.
Fiscal Note: Habitat for Humanity will reimburse the City for title transfer, recording or any other applicable fees, estimated at approximately $30 per parcel.
