The demonstration project is to start as soon as May 16, 2011 and will be evaluated after at least six months of operations. All spaces in the Library Parking Lot, with the exception of two already designated handicapped stalls, are to be for a maximum rental of four hours. The handicapped stalls are to remain free pending an opinion from the City Attorney's Office and the City Attorney will review existing parking ordinances for any potential changes to allow for the potential permanent usage of the Pay-by-Space technology.
