Recommendation of Community Development Committee on 10-25-07: To approve the recommended allocation of Community Development Block Grant funds for public and non-public service activities; if funds are received in excess of those allocated, those funds be placed in the Local Option/Contingency fund, and if the grant is less than estimated, the Local Option/Contingency fund be reduced accordingly.
Further to authorize and direct the appropriate City officials to execute and submit the appropriate documents on the City's behalf to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development to secure the City's 2008 Community Development Block Grant funds.
