Recommendation of the CDBG Advisory Board on 8/11/2022: that the recommendation to the Common Council that $200,000 in FY 2021 CDBG funds be allocated to the Wisconsin Women’s business Initiative Corporation (WWBIC) for the provision of microenterprise (five or fewer employees, owner operated, low to moderate income) assistance with grants ranging from $5,000 - $15,000 and wrap around services providing technical assistance through training and one on one guidance be approved. Further, that the Mayor and City Clerk be authorized to execute all necessary written agreements. Recommendation: That the CDBG Advisory Board allow the policy addition “Homeowners participating in any home repair/enhancement program with the City of Racine may not simultaneously be awarded more than one grant at any time.
