Subject: (Direct Referral) Communication sponsored by Mayor Mason requesting amendments to the ESG-CV Contracts previously awarded. Requesting permission to extend the expiration dates until June 30, 2023, for both Homeless Assistance Leadership Organization (HALO) and Lutheran Social Services (LSS) and to amend the HALO budget.
Staff Recommendation: Staff recommends that the CDBG Advisory Board approve the Contract Extensions for both HALO and LSS. Additionally, staff recommends approval of the budget amendment for HALO permitting them to re-categorize their funds from Rapid ReHousing to Shelter Services.
Fiscal Note:
Extending the HALO and LSS contracts does not change their overall budgets. HALO’s request to re-categorization of funds from Rapid ReHousing to Shelter Services does not change their overall budget.
